Hennessey Special Vehicles has completed testing of its most powerful car to date—the Venom F5 Evolution. This hypercar, boasting an impressive 2,031 horsepower, is claimed to be the world's most powerful road car with an internal combustion engine.
Developed in collaboration with Ilmor Engineering, the Venom F5 Evolution features an upgraded version of Hennessey's 6.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, codenamed "Fury." Thanks to enhanced turbochargers, billet aluminum pistons, and titanium components, this hypercar accelerates from 0 to 320 km/h in just 10.3 seconds—all while running on environmentally friendly Shell E85 fuel.
In addition to its increased speed and power, Hennessey has incorporated an adaptive suspension system to improve handling across five driving modes. Aerodynamic enhancements include a redesigned front splitter, underbody deflectors, and a new Gurney lip spoiler, developed with the expertise of Formula 1 aerodynamicist Dr. Mark Handford.
The Evolution package, priced at $285,000, is available for both new and existing Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution models. Production is limited to just 99 units worldwide, with prices for the F5 ranging from $2,100,000 to $3,000,000 depending on the configuration. Customers can also opt for the Touring package, which features carbon fiber seats with leather upholstery and a carbon fiber cup holder.
