The Endurance 72 by Pardo Yachts proved her pedigree during the last America’s Cup in Barcelona, where she served as the hospitality yacht for Team Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. Images of her elegant profile alongside the Italian challenger circled the globe, capturing the attention of both the international press and discerning yacht owners.
In a compelling paradox, she presents herself simultaneously as a “pocket expedition explorer", capable of long-range passages and confident navigation through demanding waters, and as a refined Mediterranean cruiser designed for effortless enjoyment of sun and sea. This dual personality — two sides of the same coin — allows her to combine the finest attributes of distinctly different yacht typologies, resulting in remarkable versatility. From the explorer lineage, the Endurance 72 inherits robust seakeeping, reassuring safety standards, generous fuel and water capacities for extended autonomy, and substantial storage for equipment and provisions — ready for true adventure.
At the same time, she embodies Mediterranean lightness and openness. Expansive glazing and sliding glass doors dissolve the boundaries between interior and exterior, creating a seamless dialogue with the sea. This desire for complete immersion — where the breeze flows freely across the decks and sunlight floods the cabins — defines the essence of the modern cruising yacht. The signature reverse-raked windscreen, a hallmark of Pardo Yachts, ensures outstanding visibility from the helm, even in challenging sea states or heavy rain.
The Endurance 72 is unequivocally designed for owners who refuse compromise — those who demand style, comfort, efficiency, and seaworthiness in equal measure. Like a blank canvas, she offers extensive opportunities for personalisation, allowing each owner to transform her into a true reflection of individual taste and lifestyle.
Her lines are a study in harmony and strength. The Endurance 72 features bold, sculptural hull contours, including Pardo’s distinctive inverted bow, slicing through waves with authority. Clean, assertive geometry and an elegantly proportioned superstructure enhance her contemporary, streamlined silhouette, conveying a sense of motion even at rest. Hull windows positioned at varying heights amplify this dynamism, giving the yacht a striking and memorable profile.
For this project, Pardo Yachts collaborated with the renowned studio BurdissoCapponi Yachts & Design, responsible for both exterior and interior styling. While preserving the shipyard’s DNA, the studio reinterpreted the Endurance 60 platform, elevating it with a more contemporary and refined aesthetic.
The exterior spaces of the Endurance 72 are meticulously conceived, balancing elegance with functionality. Each area is arranged to offer both convivial gathering spaces and intimate retreats. Forward, a generous sunpad creates a private sanctuary for enjoying the sea horizon — a personal beach club under open skies.
Aft, owners may choose between a large sun lounge or an alfresco dining configuration in the cockpit, where every meal becomes an occasion. Fold-down bulwarks transform the cockpit into a remarkable 40-square-metre terrace — an exceptional feature in this size category — creating a sense of openness directly above the water.
The aft garage accommodates a tender up to 4 metres in length and features an efficient launch-and-recovery system, simplifying watersports and exploration of secluded anchorages.
The 27-square-metre flybridge serves as a panoramic vantage point over the surrounding seascape. It is an ideal setting for intimate gatherings and sunset conversations. An eight-person dining area with an L-shaped sofa, additional seating, and generous storage ensures practicality. Owners may opt to install a fully equipped galley and bar, transforming the flybridge into a complete open-air entertainment lounge. A newly designed T-top with adjustable louvres (optional) provides protection from sun and weather, while an electrically operated folding bimini shades the aft section.
Large windows and sliding doors allow the main-deck saloon to merge seamlessly with the outdoors, enhancing the cruising experience. Opposite the galley, a dining area enjoys a side access door to starboard, while forward a spacious lounge with chaise longue and sofa invites relaxed conversation.
Two staircases lead below deck. The main staircase descends to the full-beam owner’s suite and VIP cabin aft, while a secondary forward staircase provides access to the twin guest cabins.
In the owner’s suite, a built-in desk with a concealed TV lift subtly separates the sleeping area from the dressing space. Behind smoked-glass doors lies an elegantly appointed bathroom, with shower and toilet discreetly partitioned by frosted-glass panels.
Onboard comfort is enhanced by thoughtful technical solutions, including concealed air-conditioning diffusers and a two-level lighting scheme. LED strips integrated into the ceiling create sophisticated ambient illumination, complemented by discreet spotlights for intimate, focused lighting.
The interior concept reinterprets tradition without sacrificing authenticity. The natural warmth of wood is paired with carefully curated contemporary materials and textiles. Matte grey walnut defines key architectural elements, including ceiling panels, main-deck flooring, cabinetry bases, and wall cladding. To balance the warmth of timber, a palette of light neutral tones introduces freshness and airiness, harmonising beautifully with the yacht’s exterior character.
Technical-fabric ceilings, fluted wall panels on the lower deck, softly toned wood furnishings, Chevron Beige upholstery, Krion Pearl countertops in the galley, and seamless sand-toned resin surfaces in the bathrooms establish a cohesive aesthetic. Rust-hued accents — from ceramic basins in the owner’s bathroom to matte-black taps, door handles, and lighting fixtures — add depth and contemporary sophistication.
Among the Endurance 72’s technical highlights is her variable deadrise hull, specifically engineered to complement the IPS propulsion system. This design enhances manoeuvrability, safety, and fuel efficiency.
Owners may choose between two power configurations: the standard twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1050 or the optional twin Volvo Penta IPS 1350. IPS drives provide precise joystick control, simplifying docking and close-quarters handling even with a reduced crew. Both configurations can be installed without structural modifications, as the engine room is pre-engineered for future hybrid upgrades.
With the Endurance 72, Pardo Yachts introduces the concept of “eco speed", defining the optimal cruising velocity for efficiency, comfort, and reduced consumption. In the IPS 1350 configuration, eco speed is achieved at approximately 12 knots, with fuel consumption of around 80 litres per hour and an endurance of 72 hours — equivalent to a range of roughly 900 nautical miles.
The Pardo E72 is more than a yacht—it is a statement against the ordinary, promising journeys defined by refinement, freedom, and discovery.
