Napoli Boat Show Debuts on the Mediterranean Yachting Calendar

From the 18th to the 22nd of March, the Marina di Stabia in the Gulf of Naples will be hosting the inaugural Napoli Boat Show, a five-day gathering that seeks not merely to exhibit vessels but to immerse its visitors in the very essence of la vita sul mare.

Rather than a conventional trade fair of crowded quays and pavilions with static displays, the new show positions itself as the Mediterranean’s premier "boutique" nautical event—an intimate, curated meeting point where shipyards, designers, and connoisseurs converge against one of the world's most breathtaking backdrops.

A key feature of the show is its “Ready-to-Sea” format. Every yacht at the show will be ready for a sea trial, providing an excellent opportunity to enjoy not only the yacht itself, but also the unfolding panorama of the sheer cliffs of Sorrento, the mythical profile of Capri’s Faraglioni, the sweeping arc of the Amalfi Coast, and the silent, watchful presence of Vesuvius. It is a sales environment that no brochure or climate-controlled hall could ever replicate—a moment where the allure of the object is amplified by the poetry of its setting.

The show will feature a mix of well-known Italian shipyards and international brands. Among the announced brands are Riva, Rizzardi and Azimut Yachts – with yachts up to 27 m set to serve as the show’s flagships – alongside Cayman, Cranchi, Saxdor, Airon Marine, G Tender, P Yachts, Nautica Salpa, Prestige, Nautica Esposito, FIM, Menorquin, De Antonio, Sacs, Pirelli and Mig for the motor segment. In the sailing sector, Lagoon and Jeanneau are expected, with additional brands to be confirmed.

The Innovation Dock will focus on new developments in the industry, including electric propulsion, hybrid systems, and more sustainable materials. It will also serve as a space for discussion around future challenges and opportunities in yachting.

The Marina di Stabia, designed by the acclaimed architect Massimiliano Fuksas, is the largest tourist port in Southern Italy and a marvel of modern maritime engineering. With depths reaching 6.5 m and the capacity to welcome superyachts up to 120 m, it provides the robust infrastructure required by the world’s most discerning owners.

Palumbo Superyachts Refit in Naples

The region of Campania has long been a silent powerhouse of the yachting world. From the refit specialists at Palumbo Superyachts in Naples to the builders of performance motorboats at Gagliotta and the advanced RIBs of PY Yacht, this coastline has nurtured generations of artisans and engineers. The historical shipyard in Castellammare di Stabia carries a storied legacy, having launched legendary vessels including the Amerigo Vespucci, once dubbed the most beautiful ship in the world.

The Napoli Boat Show seeks to weave this rich heritage into a new narrative, promising an immersive event designed for those who don’t just want to look at the sea — they want to live it. Each day will offer a vibrant programme of meetings, talks, sea trials, and entertainment, all set within an exclusive, elegant atmosphere. And when the sun sets, the spotlight will turn to the NBS Sunset — the Friday After Show: an exclusive evening where brands can welcome guests into their private exhibition space for networking, celebration, and connection, overlooking the sea.
