Destination fitness at Boka Place

On the shores of the Adriatic, a new trend in wellness tourism is gaining momentum. SIRO Boka Place, located in the prestigious Porto Montenegro marina, has unveiled a unique series of "destination fitness" programs that erase the boundaries between the gym and the great outdoors.

The project's core innovation lies in rejecting traditional indoor spaces in favor of Montenegro's dramatic landscapes. Guests are invited to experience "training without a roof," with activities ranging from canyoning and rock climbing to stand-up paddleboarding on the Crnojević River and open-water swims off the Luštica Peninsula. The program is meticulously designed to leverage the country's striking elevation changes—from mountain peaks to the deep blue sea—for maximum physical challenge while promoting deep mental recovery through immersion in nature.



SIRO's philosophy is built on five core pillars: fitness, nutrition, sleep, recovery, and mindfulness. Beyond the adrenaline-fueled outdoor pursuits, guests have access to the hotel's state-of-the-art facilities, including reformer Pilates, functional training spaces, and cryotherapy chambers. A strong emphasis is also placed on the social dimension of wellness: sauna areas and group classes are curated to foster connection and collective rejuvenation.

The offerings cater not only to solo adventure travelers but also to families. Younger guests and their parents can embark on maritime excursions across the Bay of Kotor, explore the UNESCO-listed medieval towns of Kotor and Perast, or visit national parks to observe rare Dalmatian pelicans, flamingos, and bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat.



Currently, SIRO—part of the Kerzner International group—operates in Montenegro and Dubai, with ambitious expansion plans underway. In the coming years, new properties are slated to open in Miami, Los Cabos, Riyadh, and Tokyo.
