Alia Yachts built a yacht for the 'dancing millionaire'

Turkish shipyard Alia Yachts has announced the launch of GENIE BLU, a fully custom 45-meter motor yacht. The vessel was built for renowned Italian entrepreneur Gianluca Vacchi, widely acclaimed for his dance moves in social media reels. GENIE BLU builds on the success of the yard's previous projects, including the award-winning SAN, also constructed by Alia Yachts. The yacht's name was chosen in honor of the millionaire's daughter, Blu.

Both the hull and superstructure of GENIE BLU are entirely made of aluminium, continuing the yard's expertise in lightweight custom yacht construction. The yacht features a semi-planing hull with imposing dimensions: length — 45 meters, beam — 8.89 meters, draft — 2.33 meters. Gross tonnage is 370 GT.

The exterior and interior were developed by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, who refined the exterior styling and carried out the interior design from concept to completion. Rather than chasing maximum interior volume, the project's authors focused on purity, openness and a direct connection with the sea.



In the main salon, floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-plan layout place the sea at the centre of the experience. The interior is deliberately calm and neutral, enhancing the surroundings rather than competing with them. Aft, a cascade of wide steps leads from elevated seating down to the swim platform, creating a natural transition to the water. Forward, a spacious lounge area has been arranged, while the upper deck features a private sunpad zone.

"This project is based on subtraction rather than addition," comments Luca Dini. "We removed barriers, reduced unnecessary volume and opened the yacht wherever possible. Our goal was not to increase capacity, but to maximise the owner's experience of the sea."
