From silent to all-weather: top 5 boats for a new season

Looking to buy a boat but don’t have time to read through reviews and catalogues? We’ve put together a selection of vessels with different characters and styles—models that are sure to impress their owners, whether they're beginners or seasoned sailors. This lineup of five proven boats covers almost every need, from a family weekend getaway and fishing trips to a quiet, romantic cruise.

There are boats that are forgotten a year after their premiere, and then there are those that remain in catalogs and in the hearts of owners for a long time. We have chosen five such models — not because they are the "latest new products," but because they are incredibly good: reliable, stylish, technologically advanced, and, most importantly, beloved even by the most discerning yachtsmen.

Chris-Craft Launch 35 GT

The legendary American shipyard has been building boats since 1874, and each model carries a piece of that history. The Launch 35 GT is a look at classic boats through a modern lens — the same noble lines, but in a contemporary interpretation. On board, an impressive company of up to 20 people can be accommodated, and every interior detail works to create a feeling of effortless luxury. At the stern, there is a bar with a grill and refrigerator, along the sides — soft sofas, and on the starboard side, a separate door with a ladder leads into the water — a rare and thoughtful solution. At the helm, analog instruments with chrome trim coexist with touchscreens, and the steering wheel is finished in wood and leather — a restrained nod to tradition, which is why we love Chris-Craft.

Riva El-Iseo

A boat that doesn't force you to choose between style and technology. Riva remains true to itself: mahogany wood, white leather, a silhouette inspired by classic Mediterranean runabouts. However, beneath this vintage charm lies cutting-edge technology: a powerful Parker GVM310 electric motor producing 250 kW, a lithium battery from Podium Advanced Technologies, and advanced integration of all onboard systems by Xenta. The boat reaches a top speed of 40 knots and can run in economic mode for up to 10 hours without recharging. Three driving modes, named after musical tempos — "Allegro," "Andante," and "Adagio" — allow you to choose the mood of your cruise.

Sea Ray Sundancer 320 Coupe

This model is prized for its rare ability to combine compact dimensions with the comfort expected of motor yachts. The Coupe version perfects this idea: an enlarged windshield, side glazing, and a hardtop transform the cockpit into a full-fledged salon, cozy in any weather. In the bow, there are three spacious sun loungers; at the stern, a swim platform. You go below and find yourself in a bright cabin with panoramic portholes and a ceiling height of over 190 centimeters, where two beds can easily be combined into one wide one. Meanwhile, the boat's dynamics remain truly sporty: two Mercury 350 Verado engines with a total power of 700 hp accelerate the boat to 42 knots.

NAVAN C30

This 30-foot boat in Scandinavian style is designed for those who value versatility and are not afraid of harsh conditions — its reliability has been proven by the waters of the Baltic Sea and northern lakes. The T-Step deep-V hull with two planing rails, developed by Brunswick engineers, guarantees excellent seakeeping. The spacious deckhouse is equipped with sliding doors on both sides and two hatches in the hardtop, while inside there is a galley with a refrigerator, sink, and stove, as well as a helm station with access to the forward cabin. The cabin offers a wide double bed and a compact head with a shower, while the atmosphere in the evening is created by LED lighting around the perimeter of the walls and ceiling. Designed for 12 people, the NAVAN C30 combines a strict Nordic style with numerous premium features and innovative technologies.

Sea Ray 230 SPX

A practical, reliable, and surprisingly spacious family boat for its size. Its hull has been specially adapted to the demands of the European market, and with a beam of 2.55 meters, it offers space rarely seen in this class. In the cockpit — convertible seats that easily adjust to accommodate any size group, plus a separate head, which is a pleasant surprise on a boat just over seven meters long. An engine of up to 300 hp and a deep V-hull provide confident, predictable handling, and several finishing options allow you to customize the boat to your liking.
