New CEO takes the helm of the Ferretti Group

Ferretti Group has a new chief executive. The board of directors has appointed Stassi Anastassov as CEO, effective immediately following the company's annual general meeting on May 15. Tan Ning remains chairman of the board, as stated in the official press release of the Group.

Anastassov succeeds Alberto Galassi, who had led the group since 2014 and served on its board since 2013. Before joining Ferretti, Anastassov ran Duracell and spent three decades at Procter & Gamble in senior leadership roles across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. He is also a non-executive director at JS Global Lifestyle and BetterShelter and advises international companies and investment funds on governance and operational transformation. Born in Bulgaria, he holds Swedish and Swiss citizenship.

Chairman Tan Ning described the appointment as a logical step as the group enters its next phase of development. Ferretti, he said, is moving into this period "with a solid foundation, exceptional brands and significant long-term opportunities". He added that the board remains committed to continuity and that under Anastassov's leadership the group will continue "to strengthen operational excellence, global positioning and long-term value creation while preserving the unique heritage of Ferretti Group".

Anastassov said it was an honour to lead a company "built on extraordinary brands, exceptional craftsmanship and talented people". In a statement issued by the group, he stressed that Italy "has been and will remain the heart of Ferretti Group" and that management's task is "to protect and strengthen that heritage" while positioning the group as a true global leader in luxury yachting.

Ferretti Group's next board meeting is scheduled for May 19, when first-quarter 2026 results will be announced.
