XF450 cat to become Voodoo Yachts' new flagship
The XF450 is positioned as the largest and most technologically advanced vessel in the history of Voodoo Yachts. The starting point for this model was the company’s signature hydrofoil platform, which combines high-speed performance, efficiency, and "exploration capabilities." The latter includes not only a shallow draft and impressive autonomy but also minimal environmental impact. However, the full specifications of the XF450 have yet to be unveiled. The shipyard has only disclosed that its cruising speed will reach 30 knots.
Voodoo Yachts, however, is eager to share details about the vessel's architecture. Buyers will have the option to choose between two configurations: an open or enclosed flybridge. Additionally, the XF450 can be optionally equipped with a helipad featuring a refueling system. One of the shipyard’s standout design features is the vertical light well, which spans all three decks and can be enhanced with vertical greenery.
A key highlight of the project is the expansive beach club, described by the shipyard as "unlike anything else in its class." This space combines a lounge, bar, and multifunctional wellness area into a unified relaxation zone. The aft "studio" can be customized into a gym, massage room, or yoga space, with direct access to a sauna or hammam, a cold plunge pool, a shower, and a day bathroom. The swim platform is large enough to accommodate sun loungers, umbrellas, and water toys. Furthermore, the beach club’s area expands significantly with folding platforms on three sides.
The interior layout of the XF450 includes five guest cabins, one of which is a full-beam master suite (10.5 meters wide) with panoramic views. There are also accommodations for up to eight crew members. Multiple lounges and dining areas are designed to suit "different moods," while the main salon features fold-out balconies on both sides.
For the interior design, the American studio Christian Oliver Design offers a minimalist yet "tactile" style: clean lines and a light color palette create an airy atmosphere, accented by textured surfaces that are pleasant to the touch.
"The XF450 represents the evolution of our cutting-edge technology and innovative design, combining features and capabilities that traditionally compete with one another. With this, we are opening new horizons for ocean cruising," stated the official release from Voodoo Yachts.
If the company’s new flagship lives up to expectations, it will be a strong contender in the market: this compact catamaran offers the comfort of a superyacht while maintaining the ability to cover long distances at impressive speeds.
