The Italian brand Panerai, renowned for its marine instruments created for the Italian Royal Navy since 1860, has unveiled a new bronze timepiece — the Luminor Marina Bronzo PAM01678.
The choice of bronze as the material, known for its resistance to corrosion and its ability to develop a patina over time, is symbolic. It serves as both a tribute to the brand’s maritime heritage and a bold design choice — the watch will gracefully age alongside its wearer, acquiring a unique patina and character over time.
The model features a 44mm case, a matte dark blue dial, beige hour markers and numerals coated with Super-LumiNova. The case back, made of sapphire crystal and titanium, reveals the automatic P.980 caliber movement with a three-day power reserve, a transversal bridge for shock resistance, and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The watch is water-resistant to a depth of 500 meters.
