Italian shipyard Cantiere delle Marche has announced the launch of the Darwin 102 explorer yacht, named Haze2. This yacht is the 16th in the Darwin Class series, which combines spacious interiors with capabilities for long-range autonomous cruising.
Haze2 features a gray hull and blue superstructure, chosen from the Rolls-Royce color palette. The interiors, designed by London-based studio Lawson Robb, incorporate natural materials such as open-grain wood, bronze accents, and mosaic details. The design also includes handmade wallpapers and light sculptures by Vincenzi and Chan.
Among the yacht's structural highlights are enlarged pilothouse windows for improved visibility and a concealed tender crane integrated into the overhang of the sundeck.
The yacht's owner is an experienced yachtsman who previously owned the ISA Haze motor yacht and the Swan Mist sailing yacht. The Darwin 102 was selected for its spacious hull, fuel efficiency, and suitability for extended autonomous voyages. The owner was actively involved in the yacht's development, paying close attention to the selection of materials and decorative elements.
Upcoming plans for Haze2 include cruises to Norway and the Red Sea in 2026–2027.
