Sanlorenzo SHE: inspired by 1960s designs

The Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has unveiled the new 25.5-meter yacht SHE, designed in a neoclassical style and equipped with the advanced Volvo Penta IPS hybrid propulsion system.

Sanlorenzo has introduced SHE — a 25.5 m yacht that merges Italian shipbuilding traditions with cutting-edge technology. SHE is the result of five years of collaboration between Sanlorenzo, Zuccon International Project, and Lissoni & Partners.

Technical features of SHE

Volvo Penta IPS hybrid propulsion system:

SHE is equipped with twin IPS30 engines (2x1000 HP), offering three operational modes:

Electric mode: enables silent cruising at speeds of up to 9 knots, ideal for marina entry or anchoring;
Diesel mode: automatically recharges batteries within 45 minutes, allowing overnight stays without generator use;
Combined mode: combines electric thrust with diesel power, reducing engine RPM and fuel consumption.

Eco-friendly materials:

The hull is constructed using sandwich lamination with bio-based resins, reducing weight and environmental impact. The deck is made of synthetic teak, requiring minimal maintenance and maintaining a surface temperature 3–4°C cooler than natural teak.

Adaptive architecture:

SHE’s spaces are designed for maximum functionality:

The main deck is barrier-free and located on a single level; the cockpit allows for customizable configurations based on the owner’s preferences; the aft section transforms into a water-level terrace, expanding spatial usability.

Interiors

Interiors designed by Lissoni & Partners feature mahogany finishes and natural materials; modular layouts adaptable to the owner’s needs; full-height glazing for adjustable lighting and seamless sea views.

Layout

SHE is divided into three levels:

The lower deck houses the full-beam owner’s cabin, VIP guest cabins, and crew quarters;
The mezzanine connects the main deck with the dining area and galley;
The main deck includes the lounge, bar, and helm station.
