French shipyard Fountaine Pajot has introduced a new brand dedicated to the production of larger yacht models. Fountaine Pajot Yachts will focus on bigger LOAs and, according to the shipyard, is "designed for customers and owners seeking a new lifestyle."
The new brand was first announced at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, where two new yacht models were unveiled, including a 35-metre catamaran. The first hull of this model is already under construction and is scheduled for delivery in early 2028.
Best known for producing sub-24-metre sailing and motor catamarans for over 20 years, Fountaine Pajot is now entering the superyacht segment with this new brand. The company plans to deliver two yachts annually and is constructing a new shipyard in La Rochelle to focus exclusively on larger models.
Fountaine Pajot Yachts places "discreet and sustainable luxury" at the core of its brand identity, focusing on seamless indoor-outdoor living, quiet comfort, fluid onboard movement, and advanced customisation.
The FPY 110S, a 35-metre catamaran spread across three decks, will become the flagship of the new brand. Designed by French studio Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, it offers 600 square metres of living space, a "duplex" owner’s suite with direct water access, and a panoramic indoor-outdoor saloon with 360-degree views through "lateral butterfly windows." The exterior platforms, described as "unfolding like origami," add to the yacht’s dynamic design.
The FPY 110S offers several layout options, including an owner’s suite, guest cabins with private bathrooms, and a crew area for seven. A motor yacht version, the FPY 110, includes additional features such as a sundeck "spa lounge" and sunbathing area. Key specifications include a 14.8-metre beam and a 2.8-metre draft.
The Fountaine Pajot Yachts portfolio also includes the 22-metre FPY 70S and FPY 70 models (also revealed at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show), the 18-metre Samana 59, the 24-metre Thíra 80, and the 24-metre Power 80.
