New brand Forte Yachts debuts in Cannes

Debuting at 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, the new Italian brand Forte Yachts presented Forte 47 —  aluminium 14m yacht with folding bulwarks.

Forte Yachts, a new high-end Italian yacht brand established on the solid technical and entrepreneurial foundations of West Naval Tech – a shipyard well-known for its expertise in aluminum construction for both workboats and superyacht components — has introduced its debut 14m model.

Built entirely from aluminium, the Forte 47 distinguishes itself with a sharp vertical bow and minimalist exterior lines, crowned by an expansive hardtop that spans over half the vessel’s length and full beam. The material choice allows the shipyard to customize the yacht’s interior configuration without fixed molds, delivering a truly bespoke experience tailored to each owner’s preferences.

One of the Forte 47’s most unique features are its two long fold-out terraces positioned amidships rather than the conventional stern placement. These terraces open outward from beneath the hardtop, transforming the social heart of the yacht into a very spacious, sea-level lounge that evokes the feel of a floating villa.

The semi-walkaround deck design—with side decks only on the port side—frees interior volume, enabling a full-beam superstructure rarely seen in this class, maximizing comfort and liveability below deck.

The yacht will be available in two configurations:

• Gran Turismo: An open version equipped with triple Mercury V12 600hp outboards, boasting a sporty character and a top speed estimated at 45 knots, ideal for fast day boating and island hopping.
• Lounge Deck: Featuring an enclosed saloon with full-height glazing and twin Volvo Penta IPS D8-800 inboards, this setup includes integrated air conditioning and offers refined comfort and protection for extended cruising in all conditions.

Below deck, the Forte 47 offers two generously sized cabins and two full bathrooms with separate showers. Headroom exceeds two metres throughout.

Following its successful brand debut at Cannes, Forte Yachts is approaching the next significant milestone: the Forte 47’s launch scheduled for November 2025.
