About the 2025 Venice Boat Show
From May 29 to June 2 the historic location of Arsenale in Venice will once again be hosting the international boat show — Salone Nautico di Venezia. Now in its sixth edition, the show will bring 270 exhibitors and 300 boats to the 55,000 sqm water basin, promising an immersive experience for everyone in love with the sea and boating.
With a rich maritime legacy dating back centuries, the city of Venice has always been defined by its relationship to the sea. The Arsenale itself was once the beating heart of the Venetian Republic’s naval dominance, and today, its monumental docks and historic shipyards offer an atmospheric and symbolic setting for showcasing the future of yachting.
Along the quays of the Arsenale, 15 world premieres are scheduled to be on display. The stylistic and functional fusion between the motor and sailing segments is showcased, alongside catamarans that embody new conceptual evolutions in onboard liveability.
The event also features an important area dedicated to water sports and entertainment, with practical demonstrations and innovative products such as surfboards, foils, and paddleboards, designed for a dynamic and enthusiastic public.
Those enchanted by the beautiful craftmanship of the bygone era and modern recreations of ancient shipbuilding techniques are welcome to the Wood Village, a longstanding favourite among visitors. Here, master shipwrights will showcase their craftsmanship through a collection of exquisite wooden motor boats and yachts.
The Venice Boat Show is promoted by the Municipality of Venice and organized by Vela Spa in collaboration with the Italian Navy.

Alberto Galassi, CEO Ferretti Group:
“The Venice Boat Show is our favorite place; we all feel great here: us, our boats, our clients, and our friends. When you combine the most beautiful city in the world and its artistic and natural wonders with the flawless organization and extraordinary commitment of Mayor Brugnaro and the City Administration, the result is what we see every year: a show that becomes more important with each edition, an unmissable event, knowing that photos of the boats in the splendor of the Arsenale will travel around the world in an instant. It is no coincidence that the Ferretti Group will be presenting two fantastic boats for the first time: Pershing GTX 70 and Ferretti Yachts 940”.
The wallywhy100, dubbed a "spaceship" by its creators, blends futuristic design, panoramic glazing, spacious interiors, and advanced handling. Inspired by Star Wars' starship bridges, its salon and master suite feature expansive glass walls, creating an open, airy feel. Designed by Luca Bassani and the Wally team, the yacht boasts a wide hull, vertical bow, and stealth-like superstructure for both aesthetics and functionality.
At 21 meters, the wallywhy100 is compact yet versatile, with a flat main deck for seamless movement. The beach club includes a hydraulic swim platform and fold-down bulwarks, expanding the area and offering stunning views. The foredeck features a multifunctional lounge, while the cockpit offers flexible seating for up to 20 guests, ideal for entertaining or fitness equipment.
Inside, the master cabin spans the yacht's width, with a king-size bed, panoramic windows, and a smart-glass ensuite. Guest cabins also feature private bathrooms and natural light. The interior, styled by Vallicelli Design Studio, combines warm wood tones with modern minimalism.
Powered by three Volvo D13 IPS1200 engines (2700 hp), the yacht reaches 27 knots, with joystick-assisted docking for easy maneuverability. The wallywhy100 is perfect for both new and experienced yacht owners, offering luxury, performance, and versatility.
With an overall length of 28.97 meters (95 feet 1 inch) and a beam of 6.78 meters (22 feet 3 inches), this wide-body yacht stands out with its five-cabin layout, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, versatile outdoor spaces, and breathtaking floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows.
Designed by Filippo Salvetti with interiors by Ideaeitalia, the Ferretti Yachts 940 offers a spacious cockpit with freestanding furniture and seamless views of the aft platform through glass railings. The 30-square-meter salon, accessed via large sliding glass doors, features the Classic Mood style with warm, natural tones, an L-shaped sofa, a dining table for eight, and a raised helm station with an uninterrupted windshield for enhanced visibility.
The master suite boasts silver roots marble accents and a full-size en-suite bathroom. Panoramic windows in the dining area, including a sliding door for direct deck access, flood the space with natural light. Forward, an open sun deck includes a large sunbed, a C-shaped sofa, and a table, while the expansive flybridge is perfect for alfresco dining.
The lower deck houses three VIP cabins and one guest cabin with convertible twin beds. Powered by twin MAN V12 engines delivering 2,000 HP each, the yacht achieves a top speed of 25 knots and a cruising speed of 21 knots.
The Pershing 8X is a 25-meter motor yacht built from carbon fiber composite, combining cutting-edge technology, sleek style, and a top speed of 48 knots. Its lightweight yet durable hull ensures fuel efficiency, increased interior space, and a cruising range of up to 320 nautical miles.
One of its standout innovations is the Music Hull system, which transforms the yacht's hull into a speaker, allowing music to be enjoyed even underwater. The interior design, developed in collaboration with Poltrona Frau and other renowned Italian brands, exudes elegance and a distinctively masculine character.
The yacht boasts spacious leisure areas, including a cockpit, flybridge, and a seamlessly integrated salon space spanning 50 square meters. Below deck, there are four luxurious cabins, while the crew has separate access to their quarters for optimal privacy. Advanced management systems, such as the integrated navigation suite, Easy Set system, and dynamic positioning, make operating this sporty vessel both intuitive and effortless.
The Pershing GTX70 is the third model in the Sport Utility Yacht lineup, joining the Pershing GTX80 and GTX116. Designed for maximum space efficiency and seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas, this yacht sets a new standard in its class.
According to the shipyard, the GTX70 offers 30% more outdoor space and 10% more indoor space compared to other yachts of similar size. The aft section of the main deck is split into two levels: a 23-square-meter beach area with a sofa or sunbed and fold-out bulwarks, and a dining area with a galley positioned between the salon and the open deck, acting as a bridge between the two. A retractable window in the galley allows for easy separation or integration of the spaces, depending on the owner's preference.
The lower deck houses three cabins, each with its own en-suite bathroom, along with a practical laundry room accessible from the main foyer.
The 16-square-meter sport bridge features a sunbathing area, a dinette, and a helm station. For added convenience, an electric carbon-fiber bimini top can be extended over the bridge when needed.
Powered by three Volvo Penta D13 IPS1200 engines, each delivering 900 horsepower, the GTX70 achieves a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots (preliminary figures). The yacht will be certified to CE Class A standards.
The Riva Dolceriva is a 14.92-meter open yacht with a draft of 1.48 meters, available with one or two guest cabins, and capable of reaching speeds of up to 40 knots. As the largest model in the Open range, it succeeds the iconic Rivarama.
With its sleek, streamlined design, the yacht evokes the elegance of supercars. However, unlike automobiles, it features abundant use of traditional Riva Yacht mahogany, coated with 20 layers of high-gloss lacquer for a luxurious finish. The lineup includes a fully open version with a folding bimini top as well as a hardtop variant.
The yacht is equipped with a fold-down swim platform that integrates sun loungers and dedicated compartments for Seabobs. Below deck, there’s a salon with white leather sofas along the walls and a master cabin featuring a large double bed and two wardrobes, separated from the salon by a sliding door made of steel and black glass.
The Dolceriva can be fitted with twin Volvo Penta D13-800 engines or the more powerful D13-1000 engines (the numbers correspond to horsepower), delivering top speeds of 35 and 40 knots, respectively. Cruising speeds are 27 and 35 knots. Additionally, a Seakeeper NG 6 stabilizer can be installed upon request to minimize roll while at anchor.
