The Dutch studio Mulder Design has unveiled its latest project, the Onyx 92. This three-deck motor yacht measures 28 meters in length and 7.1 meters in beam and has a draft of 1.6 meters.
The design of the vessel is focused on optimizing space. This is most evident on the foredeck, which features a large sunbathing area and four cozy lounge corners, as well as a beach club with a bar at the water's edge.
The primary outdoor relaxation areas are located towards the bow, although the upper deck includes an informal coffee break zone, and the aft section of the main deck boasts a shaded lounge.
The layout is flexible: for instance, the upper deck can feature either an enclosed or open salon connected to the dining area, while the forward section of the main deck can accommodate either a master cabin or the main dining room. Additionally, the Onyx 92 is available in four- and six-cabin configurations, with a crew of four.
Powered by two MTU 2000 M96 engines, the Onyx 92 can reach a maximum speed of 26 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots. It has a range of 1,800 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots. Its shallow draft allows for easy access to the shallow bays typical of Florida and the Bahamas.
