The Turkish shipyard Mengi Yay has launched the second yacht in the Serenissima series, classified as sub-500GT — the Serenissima II. This 47-meter motor yacht, known as Project NB 112, was launched at the shipyard in Istanbul, Turkey. The second yacht was launched less than a year after the debut of the first in the series, Serenissima I (S1), which premiered at last year's Monaco Yacht Show.
Serenissima I
Like its sister ship, the exterior and interior of Serenissima II were designed by the Italian design studio Nuvolari Lenard, with the naval architecture handled by the Dutch firm Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
The 499 GT motor yacht features a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, offering wide decks and a spacious interior layout. The yacht measures 8.85 meters in beam and has a draft of 2.65 meters. Serenissima II can accommodate ten guests in five cabins, along with a crew of nine.
Notable features include a main salon with a balcony and wine cellar, as well as a sundeck with a pool. Powered by two Caterpillar engines, the yacht can reach a speed of 16 knots.
