SantaSevera 52: flexible in propulsion

SantaSevera Shipyard unveiled a 52-foot weekender with three types of propulsion systems.
The Italian shipyard SantaSevera has unveiled its latest motor yacht, the  SantaSevera 52 . This new model is an ideal choice for those seeking a compact yet stylish yacht for weekend cruises or as a tender for a superyacht.

The SantaSevera 52 features a modern design by Francesco Guida, thoughtfully designed living spaces, and three propulsion options to suit the owner’s preference.

With a length of 15.75 meters and a beam of 5.05 meters, the yacht is spacious enough to serve as a comfortable weekend cruiser for two couples or a family. Departing from the popular walkaround layout with a central console often seen in this segment, the shipyard has prioritized maximizing protected spaces and focused particularly on enhancing the amenities on the aft deck.

In addition to the helm station, which includes three seats under the shade of a hardtop, there is a cozy U-shaped seating area with a low coffee table that can be converted into a dining table. Opposite this area, you’ll find another sofa and a chaise lounge, while the aft section boasts a large sun pad that can comfortably accommodate four people. Despite the generous seating and lounging options, the aft deck still leaves plenty of room for easy movement in all directions.

The forward section of the yacht is home to a full-beam master cabin, which shares a bathroom and shower with a twin cabin located aft. Between the two cabins, there’s a dedicated lounge area. The interiors are finished with natural wood, combining light and dark oak tones for a sophisticated look. The SantaSevera 52 offers three propulsion system options: shaft drive, IPS, or outboard motors. At half-load, the yacht can reach a top speed of 30 knots.

Production of four hulls for the 52 model is already underway. The brand also plans to introduce a more compact version, the  SantaSevera 40 , in 2025. The first hull of this smaller model is currently under construction and is scheduled to debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September.
