Aether

The Athens-based design studio IPYD has developed a project specifically for Oceanco’s Simply Custom line, which features semi-custom designs built on a standardized technical platform created by Lateral Naval Architects. The Simply Custom portfolio offers owners flexibility in design while utilizing pre-engineered marine architecture elements.

The highlight of Aether’s exterior design is the triangular motif in the glazing, inspired by Pythagorean philosophy, where triangles symbolize balance, unity, and harmony. At the same time, the flowing lines of the five-deck yacht create the impression of an endless stream. Details of the interior design have not yet been disclosed, but the published render showcases an open-plan beach club styled in a calm, warm color palette.
