This striking speedster marks the debut of the new exclusive Mythos series by the German brand. The world premiere of the car took place at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi, where it was unveiled as a tribute to Mercedes-Benz’s rich racing heritage.

The PureSpeed embodies cutting-edge engineering, immense horsepower under the hood, and a bold design that eliminates both the roof and the windshield. Driving this speedster feels remarkably similar to riding a high-speed powerboat.

Limited to just 250 units, the PureSpeed features a long hood and a shark-like nose, reminiscent of the Mercedes-AMG ONE hypercar.

Instead of the traditional windshield frame, which typically serves as a structural element for passenger protection during rollovers and enhances body rigidity, the car utilizes a HALO system borrowed from Formula 1. This arc over the cockpit, vaguely resembling Mercedes’ iconic three-pointed star, gives the vehicle an ultra-futuristic appearance.

Under the hood of the PureSpeed lies a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering 585 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. Paired with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission and the 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system, this engine propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 315 km/h.

The fully open cockpit enhances the driving experience, allowing both the driver and passenger to revel in the roar of the powerful engine.

The interior of the PureSpeed is finished in a two-tone color scheme—crystal white and black. It features AMG Performance sport seats, IWC Schaffhausen analog clocks, and a Burmester High-End 3D Surround sound system, creating a luxurious and high-tech ambiance. Exclusive helmets with integrated communication systems are provided for the driver and passenger—essential for high-speed driving in this car.
