Cadillac to compete in F1

Cadillac to join the Formula One championship in 2026.
The Formula 1 championship is set to welcome an eleventh team, Cadillac F1. This ambitious project is a collaboration between General Motors Corporation and TWG Global, a holding company owned by investor Dan Tauriss. Tauriss is also in charge of Andretti Global, an asset previously owned by former IndyCar and Formula 1 driver Michael Andretti.

As per regulations, every new team is required to pay an entry fee. With the current agreement expiring at the end of 2025, this fee is expected to increase significantly. Cadillac F1 will be led by Graham Loudon, marking a major milestone for the brand in motorsport.

Cadillac, already a prominent participant in global racing events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, aims to strengthen its presence in the world of motorsport through this endeavor.
