Gulf Craft has opened a new service and refit centre in Ajman, the UAE’s smallest emirate, located just 20 km northeast of Dubai International Airport. This facility complements Gulf Craft’s expansive 462,000-square-foot shipyard in Umm Al Quwain, which is only a short drive from Ajman.
The state-of-the-art 108,000-square-foot service centre is equipped with specialised workshops for carpentry, upholstery, painting, fabrication, and mechanical services. It also features a spare parts shop and offers vessel registration services in collaboration with the Dubai Maritime Authority.
Since its establishment in 1982, Gulf Craft has built over 10,000 boats and currently manufactures yachts ranging from 32 to 175 feet under its Majesty, Nomad, Oryx, Silvercraft, and SilverCat brands. The company also produces commercial Touring Passenger Vessels, primarily for the Maldives, where it has been operating since 2002. Gulf Craft currently runs a 100,000-square-foot facility in the Maldives and is preparing to launch a new 800-square-foot facility there.
The opening of the Ajman Centre was one of several milestones achieved in the final quarter of 2024. Highlights included the delivery of a Majesty 120, Majesty 111, Majesty 100, Majesty 72, Majesty 60, two Majesty 62s, a Nomad 65, and two Oryx 379 Sport Cruisers. Additionally, three Majesty yachts were exported to the Maldives in October.
